Sometimes you have an idea that is so simple and just so good that you have to get it up and running as soon as possible. The idea is a bit too good for your sister's kid to record and edit on his flip cam and laptop, but your budget is a just not hefty enough for a professional video producer - or is it? REM came up with One Grand Day as a way to help smaller businesses get a professional production quickly, efficiently, effectively. Like the name says, the cost is 1 grand. What you get is up to 4 hours of an HD broadcast single camera crew time with audio and lighting and 4 hours of editing time with a finished video encoded to a format of your choice (and we'll help you with that too!)

So what does this mean? Let's say you have some products that you want to demonstrate. You know the demo inside and out and you have the place to do it. We come in, put a mike on you, light the area and record the demo. We take multiple angles as time permits and then pack up.to the edit suite. In the edit suite, we transfer to footage to our Final Cut Pro, cut the angles together, add a little music if you want it (no extra charge), put in a few titles and then encode for YouTube, or your website, or for DVD - you pick.

Can you mix and match? Sure, why not? A sample mix and match would be 5 hours crewtime for recording and 3 hours of finishing. We will let you know if what you want is possible, so we toss in a half-hour of consultation free so that everyone has a clear understanding of what can be accomplished in the time allotted. Can you get 2 - '1 Grand Days' or 3? Of course you can! You can buy a boatload of them if you want to. (I would encourage something about the size of the Queen Mary). Can you add in assets from a previous 1 Grand Day to a new one? Absolutely! (Please note that the edit portion of the day may not be on the same day as the shoot )
