March 2008
February was a busy and productive month for REM Video & Event Company. Our production for
Hands On Twin Cities at the Mall of America was a resounding success. While we focused on the main stage in the Rotunda, our client signed up new volunteers through over 100 affiliate organizations. There was music, fun, animals, storytelling and a whole lot more. It was an action packed Saturday.
We have just begun scriptwriting and production for a major healthcare association that will be used on a weekly basis for new employee orientation. The video will welcome the new employee, give them a bit of the company’s rich history, tell them of internal organizations they can join to build community and overall tell them they made a good choice in coming to work for the company. With so much emphasis being made these days on bad economics, job losses, credit crunches, etc., it is refreshing to know that some organizations are not just hiring people; they are affirming the decision with a positive message.
Next month we are on the road to western Minnesota for another workshop with Minnesota Center for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence (MNCEME). The first event in the Twin Cities was a solid success. The focus is to bring engineering and manufacturing back to Minnesota and do it in conjunction with the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system. Our role is in the development and implementation of the events statewide as well as multimedia presentations that show the needs and the solutions to achieve success. We also have created, managed and regularly update the website which includes full registration and video capabilities.
We will soon complete a fundraising video for a private school that has a long history in the state and roots that go back 400 years in Europe. This is a very warm and personal video that focuses on their role in their community.
We are in the initial phases of developing a logo and website for a workforce development company headquartered on the West Coast. Once the new identity is established via the logo and mission, we will develop and launch a new website to help them expand their presence in a market place that really needs their help.
At REM Video & Event, we listen to your needs and find the right tools, partners and budget to create communications solutions. We have a substantial ‘toolbox’ of our own, but realize that you often need more. Since 1990, we have built relationships with clients and partnerships with other service providers to complement our own. It is a formula designed to meet the ever changing needs of our communication clients. Here, the goal is simple: We want you to be successful!
Warm Regards,
Roger Miller
